Artist Bio

Mia Burwitz, born in 1998, is from Springfield, Illinois. She is a freelance artist and a graduate from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville (SIUE) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art.Burwitz's primary mediums are digital art, oil painting, and drawing. Her work has been featured in SIUE's River Bluff Review magazine, Springfield Artist Association's "No Place to Show" exhibition, and Guzu Gallery exhibitions. She has been providing digital commission work to a variety of clients since 2018 and has a passion for storytelling, character design, and illustration. Burwitz has an extensive background in Adobe Photoshop. She currently resides in Austin, TX.
